Swanton Library offers story time


On Monday and Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings, Swanton Public Library offers the opportunity for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to have fun and learn at the same time through weekly classes held at the library.

The third six-week session begins Monday, March 4 and continues through Thursday, April 11. This session children can have fun and learn about “BUGS! BUGS! BUGS!” Registration is not required for these programs.

Program times and days are as follows:

• Once Upon a Story, for ages 3 to 5, meets on Monday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in the children’s program room. This is a new time.

• Tales for Tots, for ages 6 months through 5 years old, meets on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in the library community room. Ages 2 and under must have an attending adult.

• Tales for Tots, for ages 6 months to 5, meets on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the children’s program room. Ages 2 and under must have an attending adult.
