PERRYSBURG – A Swanton man is dead following an early morning accident Thursday on Interstate 475 in Perrysburg.
The Bowling Green post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Randy Hahn, 67, was southbound on the interstate near milepost 2 in Perrysburg at approximately 6:52 a.m. when it traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking the median and overturning.
Hahn was ejected from the vehicle and into northbound traffic, where he was struck by a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Rachel Lehman, 36, of Portage, Ohio.
Hahn was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation. Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Perrysburg police and fire departments and EMS, and by the Ohio Department of Transportation.
