On a snowy day, on March 1 1947, Ray and June Osterhout were married at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Swanton. They lived in Swanton and raised two children, Bradley of Virginia and Lisa of Swanton. Ray and June were also blessed with three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
During their retirement years they were busy people. The two of them enjoyed traveling to the beautiful sites of our country, pulling their camper behind them. They are enjoyed snowmobiling and four-wheeling in Michigan. When Ray and June were well into their 80’s they took up dancing and enjoyed weekly trips to Deshler to meet up with their dancing friends.
Today, they are still very much in love and enjoy each other’s company daily. Ray still enjoys teasing June, and she gives him ‘that look’ 75 years later.
