• Swanton Exchange Club decided to take up the matter of resurfacing county line road. A stone surface was planned. They also discussed Route 64 north of Swanton, which in the summer is so dusty it is almost impassable.

• A new piano was purchased by the Swanton Choral Society for the new high school building. The cost to the society was $775.
