My Halloween Poems
By Mrs. Findling's Class
I'm a black cat.
I sleep all day.
And hunt all night.
I can't wait to give the people
Quite a scare.
People call me Midnight.
I love Halloween
By Coral C.
I'm a witch's broom
I love Halloween
When she flies me high in the sky.
When I fly I feel so free
Better than in her shed and in misery.
When she rides me on Halloween
I hear the giggling of trick-or-treaters beneath me
I'm a witch's broom
Now back in the shed I go.
By Madison M.
I'm a bat
I fly through a haunted house on Halloween
I come outside to scare you
I am a black bat
I may swoop down and bit you and get a quart of blood
Then when Halloween is ove
I go back up to the haunted house and wait for next Halloween.
By Matthew M.
I'm a ghost.
I creep through the night
When the time comes, I scare people with fright
I get tired and move home
Into my tomb
The next Halloween
I feel rested with glee
I know nothing can stop me
I scare trick or treaters with fright
And they run down through the night
Then I go to my stone
I am the ghost.
By Hunter H.
I 'm a pumpkin, round and orange
I have a zig zag mouth, square eyes and a moon nose.
It is just about six
Kids are shouting with laughter
I sit on the door step
Listening to the noise
And then just in front of me
A princess walks up the stairs to the door
And I know it is Halloween night.
I'm a bat
And I sit in a tree
I wait until someone comes by
For food for me
I snarl and screech
When people go by
Then I swoop down to get them
And I bite them and they die
Now that is what I do all day and all night
I can't wait till Halloween's glistening moon light.
