Elizabeth Victoria Carroll

Elizabeth Victoria Carroll, 37, of Delta, and formerly of Swanton, died unexpectedly, Thursday, June 25, 2009, as the result of an automobile accident near her mother's home in Swanton. She was born June 28, 1971, in New York, N.Y., to Harry Bidwell and Ruie Ellen Hansen.

Elizabeth was a 1990 graduate of Swanton High School. She formerly owned and operated Elizabeth's Creations in Swanton. She loved gardening and making crafts. Elizabeth could transform anything into a beautiful work of art. She also was an avid animal lover. She treated her pets, Daisy, Cowboy, Shiloh and Cherokee like they were her children.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving mother and stepfather, Ruie (Dale) Bettinger; brother, Carter W. Owens; sisters, Mary (James) Saxer and Christine (Ken) Wrobel; nieces and nephews, Andrew, Amanda, Sara, Robert, Daniel, Alex, Nicholas and Nathan; special great-nephew, Kolton; and fiancé, Carey Solomon.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, Harry Bidwell.

Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009, with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating.

Friends and family may visit the day of services from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Humane Society.
