Bryan scored three goals in under five minutes to upset Swanton 3-0 in Northwest Ohio Athletic League girls soccer on Thursday.
Both teams had some chances early on before the Golden Bears (6-5-5) broke through near the midpoint of the first half. Gracie Voigt found the net twice and Allye Minor once between the 20:45 mark and 16:30 mark of the first.
Those goals proved more than enough as Swanton (10-4-2) struggled to get anything going in the season finale.
Haley Nelson did have an opportunity with about four minutes left in the half but was turned away by keeper Meggie Voigt. Aricka Lutz nearly scored on a header early in the second half, but Meggie Voigt was again there for the save.
It was senior night in Swanton as Ally Hendricks, Julia Hightower, Kendra Keefer, Nelson, Tonya Timpe, Amber Torres, and Kirsten Truckor played in their final regular season home game.
The Bulldogs now move on to tournament play. They received the second seed in the Division III Genoa District. On Wednesday they will host either Milan Edison or Ottawa Hills at 5 p.m. in the sectional final.
