Bryce McComb is the District 7 player of the year

Swanton’s Bryce McComb makes a three in a match-up with Wauseon. McComb was the player of the year in Division III according to the District VII Basketball Coaches Association.

Bryce McComb of Swanton was named the District VII Player of the Year in Division III by the District VII Coaches Association.

Joining him in making first team all-district for the Bulldogs was Gunnar Oakes. Swanton’s Robbie Gilsdorf was second team all-district.

Devin Jones of Swanton was honorable mention all-district.

Being named honorable mention for Evergreen were Alec Truckor and Nick Etue.

Division III

First team

Bryce Williams, Archbold; Mateo Flores, Gibsonburg; Hunter Sieben, Ottawa Hills; Alex Arellano, Paulding; Gunnar Oakes, Swanton; Logan Bailey, Tinora; Ethan Linder, Wayne Trace.

Player of the Year: Bryce McComb, Swanton.

Coach of the Year: Ty Traxler, Elmwood.

Second team

Deven Peter, Elmwood; Trevor Solether, Elmwood; Kolden Uribes, Montpelier; Parker Vollmar, Otsego; Logan Crider, Ottawa Hills; Robbie Gilsdorf, Swanton; Brevin Renollet, Tinora.

Honorable mention

Delta: Evan Vasquez, Marc Callahan, Noah Parsons.

Evergreen: Alec Truckor, Nick Etue.

Swanton: Devin Jones.
