1. Why are you running for office?

The current Fiscal Officer has decided not to run so maybe it is time for me to offer up some of my time. Until I started attending the meetings this summer, I didn’t realize how much is involved in running a township. It’s been a real eye opener.

2. Why should people vote for you?

I’m not sure that’s the right question. I think the question should be “ What’s best for Swancreek Township?” If you think honesty, hard work, and loyalty along with years of helping run businesses and banking experience are important for Swancreek Township, then I have all of those qualities.

3. What are your two main goals if elected?

To learn the job and do it well.

To help the trustees with a budget and keep them informed of where we stand financially throughout the year.

4. Have you ever held office before?

No I haven’t. All of my extra time or volunteer work has been for non-profit organizations.

5. Do you have anything else to add?

Since the current fiscal officer isn’t running whoever is elected has a great opportunity to learn something new. I personally think that’s exciting.
