Toledo woman in serious condition after Airport Highway crash

A Toledo woman is in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle on Airport Highway in Swanton Township on Friday night at about 11:35 p.m.

Stacy Pacak of Toledo was walking in the westbound lanes of Airport Highway (SR2) and was struck by a Ford Mustang driven by Zachary McAuley of Holland, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Pacak was transported by Life Flight to a local hospital in serious condition.

McAuley was not injured and was wearing his seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.

The Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office, Swanton Police Department, Spencer Township Fire Department, and Life Flight.
