Swanton High School Accounting students took part in the Regional Business Professionals of America accounting competition on Jan. 23. Students participated in four different two-hour academic tests within the Accounting division, and dominated the region by capturing 21 of a possible 26 academic places, and a record 13 state qualifiers.
Trevor Schaller, Tanner Callicotte, Haiden Gombash, Sidney Taylor, Haley Nelson, Cydney Christensen, Weston Miller, Wyatt Lake, Domonic Domitio, Zack Bloom, Anthony Howard, Seth Rains and Isaac Thomas will be competing at the Ohio State Business and Professionals of America contest in Columbus on March 8 and 9 for a chance to compete at the national level this spring in Dallas, Texas.

Swanton accounting students are in a two year program funded through Penta Career Center and are receiving college accounting credits through the College Credit Plus Option.
