Swanton High School’s 2017 Homecoming celebration included a parade down Main Street. The parade ran from the Eastern District Court building at Main and St. Clair street to Dodge before ending at the school parking lot.
It featured Homecoming attendants and floats, each with a different continent as a theme, from each class at the high school.
After arriving at the parking lot, a ceremony was held with this year’s Homecoming Queen and King named. Ally Hendricks is the Swanton High School Homecoming Queen and Lukas Reiner the Homecoming King.
A kickball tournament followed with girls from each of the four classes competiting. The seniors were victorious.
