Peony Fest slated for Metamora farm


The Koelsch Farm Homestead, located at 2365 County Road S in Metamora, will be holding its second annual Peony Fest on Saturday, June 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.. It will be a celebration of the over 200 peony bushes in bloom on the Farm Homestead.

In addition, there will guided tours of the grounds, including garden, ponds and woods; and a tour of the Farmhouse Cottage. It is all on almost 15 acres which can be rented nightly & weekly for weekend getaways, family or school reunions, weddings, showers and parties.

The farm will be set up for a wedding venue and there will be food vendors, vendors selling collectibles and new items, wedding vendors, Koelsch Pies & baked goods, Tea by Elaine’s Tea, Peony Floral Arrangements by Garden Clubs & Florists, en plein air painters and other artists, vintage wedding gowns on display, carriage rides, and music.

The public is invited to attend and this is a free event.
