The Fulton County Dairy Association is offering a minimum $1,000 scholarship to graduates of the county’s schools who have been active in county youth activities.
Students must be at least in their second semester of an associate degree or second year of a four-year college majoring in dairy science, food technology, family consumer science, agricultural education or communications, veterinary medicine or an agricultural related ﬁeld.
A grade point average of 2.5 is required, and the student must be in good standing with the school to be eligible while pursuing degrees from two- and four-year institutions. Qualifying students must have successfully completed one semester of an associate degree to qualify or be in the second year of a four-year university.
Interested youth must ﬁll out a Dairy Association scholarship application, due postmarked or hand-delivered by April 30. Application forms are available at the Fulton County Extension Ofﬁce, 8770 State Route 108, Suite A, in Wauseon or by calling 419-337-9210.
