Monclova 5K to benefit food pantry


MONCLOVA – Students in the Penta/Anthony Wayne Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), career-technical student organization, are sponsoring the Lead2Feed 5K Race/Walk on Saturday, April 16 at Monclova Primary School, 8035 Monclova Road.

Race day registration opens at 8:30 a.m. with the 5K run/walk to begin at 9:30 a.m. The event will support Lead2Feed and Food for Thought, a Toledo food pantry, to help end hunger in our community. All entry fees will be donated to Food for Thought.

Participants are also encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item to be donated to Food For Thought. Early entry fee is $20 (by March 23) which includes a t-shirt. Registration forms are available on the Penta web site pentacareercenter.org, the Lead2Feed 5K web site lead2feed5k.weebly.com or the Anthony Wayne web site at anthonywayneschools.org (flyer central).
