Rotary Club hosting speech contest

The Swanton Rotary Club is hosting a Four-Way Test Speech Contest today at Swanton High School. It will begin after school at approximately 2:45 p.m.

The Rotary Four-Way Test Speech Contest was conceived as a means for Rotarians to support students to make healthy choices in the ethical issues that they face in everyday life as teens.

The Rotary’s Four-Way Test:

Of the things we think, say, or do,

• First, is it the truth?

• Second, is it fair to all concerned?
• Third, will it build good will and better friendships?
• Fourth, will it be beneficial to all concerned?
The winner of the Swanton contest will advanced to the Rotary District 6600 contest on March 19 in Van Wert.
