Kids in grades 6-12 can wear anything but red or pink and come to the library from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, for an afternoon celebrating all the things Valentine’s Day isn’t. They’ll have a shooting range, funny anti-romance videos, broken heart cookies to fix with various kinds of frosting, and a piñata heart filled with candy that will have to be broken!
Everyone is welcome, single or not. Registration is requested; go online, call, or stop by the library. The event is free.
