Students honored

Alaina Sayre, above, along with Silas Kreuz were Swanton Rotary Club’s Senior Students of the Month of April. Silas was unable to attend the luncheon, but was moved to honor and recognize Gary Moore as the teacher who had the greatest impact on his educational experiences at SHS. Alaina gave the club a brief bio about herself and was accompanied by her mom and stepdad for lunch with the Rotarians. Alaina chose to recognize Deisa Thielman, her third grade teacher, as the teacher who had the greatest impact on her educational career.
