Swanton kindergarten registration coming soon

Swanton Local Schools will have Kindergarten Registration and Screening on March 17, 18 and 19 for the 2010-11 school year. Students must be five years old before Aug. 1 to qualify for entrance to kindergarten.

Parents need to call Crestwood Elementary from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at (419) 826-8991 to schedule an appointment. Custodial parent or guardian must register the potential kindergarten student.

The following documents for the student are required at the time of registration:

Birth certificate or passport, Social Security Card, immunization records, custody papers or foster placement agreement (entire document) and proof of residency. Proof of residency can include a purchase agreement, rental contract or a utility bill.
